This map is a real centre-piece. It is the complete map of SW London with a fox, a badger and a heron. The fox was chosen because although I live in a rural area with foxes living close by, my best sightings of foxes have always been in London. The badger was chosen because the map extends down into Surrey and my first ever sighting of a badger was at Box Hill (I was soooo excited!!), so the badger seemed very apt. Then I wanted a water bird to be on the area close to Staines Reservoir - I looked at various ducks, common and rare, but in the end decided to opt for a heron - so beautiful and elegant.
