This painting has been a real labour of love! I used my own reference photos to sketch this onto the huge canvas and then started painting with oils. Two years later I finially finished it!! For a long time it sat abandonned on the easel as the thought of painting all that fur was just too over-whelming. It very nearly got painted over for that reason. But I persevered and am so pleased that I did as this tiger looks mighty grand in its black and gold frame.
