This scene had been on my mind for a long time before I started to paint it - and once I had started painting I did spend time wishing I never had as it was a complicated subject to tackle! I spent MANY hours on the bubbles! However, as it came together and started to match the image that had been in my head I was really pleased that I had persevered with it.
The painting has been done in acrylics on  canvas and the end result has been framed in a complimentary grey frame.
